Ghana was formerly known as the Gold Coast. It is bordered by The Ivory Coast to the west, Burkina Faso to the north, and Togo to the east. The Atlantic Ocean is to the south. Cocoa and timber are the chief exports.
Two hand made dolls wearing different style dresses. Both dolls have cloth over wire armature bodies. The doll on the left has painted features and the doll on the right has embroidered features. There are ground nuts (monkey nuts) in the bowl on the head of the doll on the left.
