Both dolls have soft brown leather bodies and painted features. The male doll is carrying a large drum and the female doll is carrying a tiny baby on her back. She has a large goblet-shaped tub infront of her.
The male doll is 12" high and the female is 10" high. Ivory Coast, West Africa C.1970.
Makers marks: "Deposee" printed on bottom of base on male doll. No marking on female doll.
