I am not 100% certain if these dolls are actually from Malawi. I am basing it on the tall swirly headresses. A set of three wooden musician dolls wearing camel hair skirts and headresses. They are playing various musical instruments. Two dolls are 3" high and one doll is 4.5" high. Malawi (?) South East Africa. 1980. Makers marks: "Made in South Africa" faintly stamped on the bottom of the base of one doll. The other two dolls do not have any marking.
