Mauritius is one of the Mascarene islands lying off the south east coast of Africa, in the Indian Ocean It is famous for the "dodo" bird which is now extinct. In 1598 ithe island was named after Prince Maurice, which is the name printed on the apron of this doll. Cloth doll with painted features. 9.5" high.
