A pre-world war two male doll. Hand made with leather and filled with straw. Painted features. He has a leather pouch over his shoulder. The hood of his jacket fits over his turban. A similar doll is featured in the book: "The Encyclopedia of Regional Dolls of the World" by Marjorie Fainges, page 100, bottom picture.
