Pair of hand made mother and daughter dolls. Cloth over wire armature bodies with embroidered features. The mother is carrying a bundle of wood. Her hair is plaited in an ornate style. 13" and 6.5" high. Senegal. C.1980. Makers marks: "Print Rishiabh impex" printed on the fabric at the bottom of the body, on the child doll. (This probably applies to the fabric, not to the doll itself). There are no markings on the mother doll.
